Phnom Kulen, regarded as the birthplace of the Khmer Empire, remains one of Cambodia’s most revered pilgrimage sites. Explore the River of a Thousand Lingas with sacred carvings symbolizing fertility, the giant reclining Buddha carved into sandstone, and the refreshing Kulen Waterfall, where locals often bathe and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch and rest before continuing to Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Visit Kompong Phluk, a fascinating floating village built on stilts above the water. Depending on the season, houses tower above or float with the lake level. A boat trip reveals daily life on the water—fishing, schools, and temples—creating an unforgettable cultural and natural experience.

• Please dress properly for visiting temples. If you wear shorts and T-shirts, make sure they are long enough to be knee length and shoulder covered. No scarf or shawl and tank top are allowed.
