Hase-dera is not to be missed in June, when beautiful hydrangea flowers bloom all around the temple's grounds.    Hokokuji Temple is best known for the beautiful, small bamboo grove behind the temple's main hall. A narow path leads through the bamboo to a tea house where you can sit and enjoy a cup of matcha tea while enjoying the view. Important: tea house entrance fees not included.

   Kamakura Goro Kamakura Komachi Street Honten

   Start off your trip to Kamakura passing by Komachi street, a peculiar strip of modernity in the center of an ancient city, where trendy boutiques and food stalls line up until the entrance of Hachimangu shrine.
