Private guide/driver will take you to the iconic beauty spots and historical locations on the road to Skye. We have flexibility to alter the tour for any last minute requests you may have and aim to provide you with the most memorable experiences on your Scottish holiday. Options include the Fairy Pools and a spectacular lunch stop. There are a few hidden gems along the way.

   Photo opportunities and optional stop at Urquhart Castle

   Eilean Donan Castle

   1 hour

   Iconic visit to Eilean Donan castle allowing time for photos and entrance.

   Skye Bridge

   Pass by

   Taking you over the sea to Skye on what was a controversial build at the time but is serving the island well.

   Isle of Skye Market Square

   Pass by

   Passing through the second major town on Skye with it's stunning views across the sound to the site of the once bustling Kishorn Yard.

   Portree Harbour

   1 hour

   With it's colourful harbour, Somerled Square, quaint shops and eateries and the excellent Aros centre offering history and culture, a stop in Portree is a must.

   Kilt Rock

   15 min

   Magnificent basalt formation, resembling a kilt and imposing Mealt Waterfall.

   Staffin Fossil Museum

   30 min

   I love this place. Housed in the original family home of the lovely, Dugald Ross, with it's internationally famous collectioin of dinosaur fossils, found nearby, which he started in 1976!

   Quiraing

   10 min

   Captivating landscape at the north of the island. The Table was once used to play shinty on! Photo stop.

   Skye Museum of Island Life

   45 min

   A little hamlet of black houses, offering an in-sight into the life of an islander in the 1800s and early 1900s. Nearby is the Memorial to Flora MacDonald.

    Talisker Distillery

    1 hour

    Heading round Skye with views of Loch Bracadale and Loch Harport, stop to sample the islands only whisky, the famous, Talisker. * This requires to be requested and tours pre-booked by us (the distillery is closed / has limited tour availability at this time due to building works)

    Achnasheen

    30 min

    To complete our round trip, we return via Strathcarron.
