That’s the Colorado Plateau we’re standing on today. All of this happened in the blink of an eye — well, geologically speaking.    This stunning spot offers a simply unbeatable vista of Lake Powell and the surrounding landscape. On the near side of the lake you’ll also spot the Wahweap Marina, where folks store their boats between trips out onto the lake.

   It’s called Waterhole Canyon. Erosion from water and wind has carved the canyon walls into a wild, curving pattern you simply have to see in person.
