Horse Riding Tours in Central Portugal

Our outdoor trail rides are only suitable for experienced riders aged 13+. Our horses are not suitable for inexperienced or occasional riders. Based on our experience with adult riders with little or no riding experience, we have found that expectations of the riding experience can sometimes be higher than what we can safely and responsibly offer. For the safety of our guests and the welfare of our horses, we therefore only offer trail rides to experienced riders, as well as guided horse walks for children. Winter season: Fewer riding options are available during the winter months than during the summer season. Current group limitation: Due to an injury to one of our horses, and another horse not yet being ready for outdoor group rides, we currently accept a maximum of 1 experienced rider per trail ride and 2 children for the guided horse walk. Please make sure your riding experience matches these requirements before booking.

Experience the beauty of Central Portugal on horseback! Ride through forests, scenic trails, and charming villages while enjoying an authentic outdoor adventure. We offer rides for experianced riders, or children. Experienced Riders: Enjoy a trail ride with walk, trot, and canter. Riders must be confident, able to control their horse independently in all gaits, and have previous trail riding experience. (15Y +) (Young) Children : A relaxed introduction ride at walk, with the horse led by a guide for maximum safety and enjoyment. During the past summer, we noticed that adults with limited riding experience often expected a more active riding experience than we can safely provide. When necessary, a guide would have to walk alongside the horse, which is understandably not the experience many adults are looking for. Our horses are not suitable for safely taking inexperienced adult riders on outdoor trails. For the safety of our guests and the welfare of our horses, we have therefore chosen to offer trail rides exclusively to experienced riders, while offering guided horse walks for children with little or no riding experience.
