Honey story and Mtirala forest (From Batumi)

There is little chance of getting this practical knowledge anywhere else. You will take it with you, you will be able to use it all your life and you will associate it with Georgia.

In the first, honey part of the excursion, you will receive criteria for finding honey of natural purity and value in your country of residence or while traveling. We will take a short excursion into the history of the relationship between humans and bees. You will see bees in a living tree, log hives and other hive structures. You will learn what kind of pressure bees are under in modern beekeeping and how buying a jar of honey can change the situation for the better for bees. You will taste some varieties of honey from local nature. You will be able to use this practical knowledge throughout your life and it will be associated with Georgia. Then a walk through the magical forest of Mtirala without entertainment infrastructure - just you and nature. We can go to my forest apiary or go further and see the log hives attached to the trees. Finally, dinner at my neighbors' house, in an ordinary family in our village with local cuisine. (This part is optional and is paid additionally 35 GEL per person)
