Your Private Distillery Day Tour and Shore Excursion takes in two of our famous Highland Whisky Distilleries, with Door to Door service from Edinburgh using a luxury vehicle and a local Scottish chauffeur with years of experience and stories. Your day is at your pace, with no waiting for other passengers if there is something you really want to see we will discuss this with you to get it added to your itinerary. The Distillery stops will allow you to complete a tasting at the Distillery Stores, if you would like to complete a Distillery Tour this would be an additional charge which is paid locally or prior to arrival.    One of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland, Blair Athol Distillery stands at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands in the picturesque town of Pitlochry. You can either enjoy a paid tasting at the Distillery Store or complete a guided tour on the distillery (Additional Cost), you can mull over the distinctive character of the finished article as you sip your dram of Blair Athol 12 Year Old. Set in open moorland south of the town, in the foothills of the Grampian mountains, Blair Athol’s ancient source of water flows through the grounds from the slopes of Ben Vrackie, contributing to the whisky’s, mellow quality and smooth finish.

   The House of Bruar Store is widely acknowledged as Scotland’s most prestigious independent store, with luxury gourmet produce and artisan treats. Take a lunch at the restaurant with locally sourced produce fresh from the larder.

   The Glenturret Distillery

   1.5 hours

   Set in the beautiful Perthshire countryside, The Glenturret Distillery is Scotland’s oldest working distillery and a truly unique whisky experience. Glenturret Malt Whisky is still hand crafted today as it was over two centuries ago using the only remaining hand operated mash tun in Scotland. Drawing on the area’s plentiful natural resources, whisky is made by hand and heart. Visitors will experience the traditional handmade distilling processes that have been used to craft the whiskies at The Glenturret Distillery for generations.
