Healing Hugs with the Goat Rescues at Frederick Farm Sanctuary

Connect with the affectionate goats of Frederick Farm Goat Rescue and Sanctuary for a heartwarming experience. In a cozy setting, either inside the barn or outside surrounded by nature, visitors will enjoy quality time with these rescued goats, learning their unique stories and personalities. Relax on blankets or hammocks as soothing music plays in the background, fostering a tranquil atmosphere for hugs, cuddles, and photo opportunities. This intimate gathering emphasizes the therapeutic benefits of animal interaction, making it a perfect escape from the everyday hustle.

Spending time with animals can reduce stress and increase feelings of happiness, and we believe rescued goats make that experience twice as meaningful! Goats are adorable, but they are also remarkably intelligent, affectionate animals whose personalities may remind you of dogs, cats—and sometimes even people! All ages are welcome for an intimate, small-group experience with this friendly, attention-loving herd. You’ll meet each goat, learn about their breed, behavior, personality, and rescue story, and discover what makes these animals so unique. Depending on the weather, we’ll gather inside a cozy barn or relax outdoors beneath the forest canopy on blankets and hammocks. There will be plenty of time for hugs, cuddles, brushing, scratches, and memorable photos with your new goat friends. Set to soothing music and surrounded by the peaceful beauty of nature, watching the goats in their environment and forming a genuine connection with them is truly magical. We believe: Goat therapy is a real thing!
