Fresh local products like fava (yellow split peas), capers and the island's signature cherry tomato are the backbone of traditional recipes that tell the story of local culture. On this experience you will get hands-on in the kitchen at Aroma Avlis, learning to cook time-honoured Santorinian dishes such as fava, tomato fritters, and pork fillets in Vinsanto (sweet wine) sauce — with vegetarian alternatives available for those who prefer to skip the meat. Once the cooking is done, you will sit down on the restaurant's picturesque veranda to enjoy the dishes you just made, paired with glasses of local Santorinian wine. Depending on the option you choose, your day can also include a guided tasting of Santorini's volcanic wines, and a relaxed finish with a cocktail and fruit salad on private sun-loungers at a black sand beach in the south of the island.
