Arrived with the means at an altitude of 2000m the ascent begins along the path that, between a forest of pines and brooms and native vegetation, will lead us to one of the most evocative views of the Del Bove valley.

   We start by passing the Catania waterfront, from where we can see the stacks of Acitrezza

   Mount Etna

   Trekking (medium / easy level, about 300 meters in altitude) along a path that, passing through a characteristic undergrowth first and then lunar landscapes, leads to an altitude of about 2300 meters

   Valle Del Bove

   30 min

   When you reach an altitude of about 2,300 meters, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the south-east crater overlooking the Valle del Bove, an ancient volcanic caldera

   Craters Silvestri of Mount Etna

   2 hours

   Walk on one of the ancient craters. Later visit to one of the lava flow caves along the route.

   Colata Lavica 1992

   30 min

   Visit to the lava front of the 1991-1993 lava flow, which reached the village of Zafferana Etnea

   Oro d'Etna

   30 min

   Stop for a free tasting of typical Etna products

   Return to the starting point in Catania, passing through the city
