Half Day Naxos Village Private Tour

We begin our private tour with a visit to the impressive Kouros, stepping into the ancient history of Naxos. We then continue to Panagia Drosiani, one of the oldest Byzantine churches in the Balkans. Our journey takes us to the Kaloxylos Olive Press, where we enjoy a flavorful tasting experience, followed by a stop at the village of Halki with a delicious tasting at the Vallindra Distillery. The tour concludes with an introduction to the art of traditional ceramics, offering a true insight into the island’s heritage.

   Melanes Kouros Statue

   We head to the Village of Melanes to visit the Kouros of Flerio ,archeologiacal research shows it dates back to 570 B.C. Its height is one of the most impressive features reaching almost 6 meters while one leg is broken.

   Pass by

   On the way to Panagia Drosiani we will meet the Mountain with the marbles at Kinidaros Village.

   Monastery Panagia Drossiani

   Reaching Panagia Drosiani which is a historical monastery south of Moni Village and it is said to be the monastery with the oldest murals in the Balkans.

   Vallindras Kitron Distillery

   1 hour

   We arrive at the beautifull and picturesque Village of Chalki. Our 1st stop in Chalki will be the Citrus Distillery of Vallindras ,afterwards we will take a walk in the alleys of the village.

   Limpertas Manolis Pottery

   30 min

   Our last stop is the famous pottery workshop of Mr.Manolis Libertas in Damalas.
