We offer halibut fishing with a maximum of 6 people with a local captain and mate who have over 30 years of experience fishing the surrounding waters of Icy Strait Point . Client can catch and release or choose to ship their catch home..

Itinerary

Guest will bottom fish for halibut using a variety a tackle and bait They will fish a variety of location in the waters of Icy straits and Port Frederick.

Meeting and pickup

If guest want to meet at the harbor they will take the bus to town . Once dropped off they will walk to the Hoonah harbor about 300 yds away.

Guest will either take the green gondola to the Adventure center area and find the Excursion hub signs and follow them to the pick up area, or proceed through the Adventure center and exit out door 2 . Once outside find the Excursion hub sign and follow them to the pick up area.

End point

If guest want to meet at the harbor they will take the bus to town . Once dropped off they will walk to the Hoonah harbor about 300 yds away.
