The ravines are deep karst gorges, characterized by typical Mediterranean scrub. They are the perfect natural habitat for many plant and animal species, where you might witness the flight of birds like the kestrel and the black stork. It’s a sensational nature trail where you can appreciate the scents and sounds of nature, far from the daily chaos. This land has been inhabited and shaped by humans for over 3,000 years, during which the rocks provided shelter, and the vegetation and wildlife provided food.
