Itinerary

  1. 1

    Malecon de Mazatlan

    Pass by

Mazatlán's infamous Malecon stretches over 13-miles (21km) of the city's historic buildings, monuments, art, and gorgeous oceanfront views. It will take us from Olas Altas (downtown) to the Golden Zone, making it one of the world's longest boardwalks! With dedicated walking and bike lanes, the ride will be comfortable and fun!

  2. 2

    Plaza Machado

    30 min

Located in Mazatlán's Centro Histórico (Historical District), Plaza Machado captures the rich history and culture of the city. While we're here, you'll discover 19th-century colonial buildings, luscious greenery, unique gazebos, and delicious dining options!

  3. 3

    Golden Zone

    20 min

Most known for the infamous "Mazatlán" sign (great photo spot!), the Golden Zone is the city's main tourist and entertainment district right along Playa Gaviotas! Here you'll find views of Isla de Venados (Deer Island), locally-inspired dining options, and a glimpse of Mazatlán's vibrant nightlife!

  4. 4

Catedral Mazatlan Basilica de la Inmaculada Concepcion

    15 min

Built in the late 19th-century, the cathedral towers over the centro histórico (historical district) and is widely known as the spiritual heart Mazatlán. The architecture blends Neo-Gothic, Baroque, and Moorish styles along with vibrant colours. The doors are kept open during operating hours and is open to visitors provided appropriate etiquette and attire is maintained.

  5. 5

    Mercado Pino Suarez

    30 min

This historic market built in the 19th-century is the largest in the city, hosting more than 250 vendors on multiple floors over full downtown block. Here you'll find handicrafts, clothing, fresh foods, and local dishes. This is an excellent spot to purchase souvenirs, just keep in mind that most vendors only accept Mexican pesos (MXN).
