Overview

“All cities have their charm. Granada has his, and all the others”, “Give him alms woman, that there is nothing in life, like the penalty of being blind in Granada”... there were many great poets who dedicated beautiful words to this city.... But I'm left with one once told me by a poet from the Albayzín neighborhood, who is... "The albayzín has so much magic, because all those who come, leave here a little piece of their heart." Are you ready to fall in love with one of the most beautiful cities in the world? Put on good shoes to walk comfortably, and discover the most beautiful corners of this city, in one day. Discover the ins and outs of Granada’s oldest neighborhoods, and marvel at the majesty of the great red fortress from the most impressive viewpoints. With Enjoy Costa del Sol Tours, you will discover the true essence of Andalusian culture with our fast and direct excursions, so that we make the most of our time.

Itinerary

  1. 1

    Barrio Del Albaicin

    2 hours

We will begin our guided tour of the Albayzín and the Sacromonte at the viewpoint of San Cristobal. We will miss this labyrinthine network of cobblestone alleys, Carmenes, cisterns and viewpoints that will delight us with wonderful views of the Alhambra. We will go down to the heart of the neighborhood, the always lively Long Square. From here, we will pass through the Arc des Pesas, which will lead us to the Mirador de San Nicolás, a place of obligatory passage where you can listen to flamenco of street musicians while enjoying breathtaking views of the Alhambra and the city of Granada, crowned with Sierra Nevada. After the de rigueur photos, we will continue on the way to the Sacromonte, famous for its caves, essence of gypsy life and the Granadan zambra. We will delight in a perspective of the neighborhood with its cave houses, and a beautiful panoramic view of the Alhambra. We will walk along Paseo de los Tristes, on the side of the Darro River, to finish at the Church of Santa Ana.

  2. 2

    Granada

    3 hours

After our visit, we will have 3 hours of free time, during which we can get to know the center of Granada and enjoy its typical tapas to replenish strength. We recommend taking advantage of this free time to visit the typical Moroccan craft shops of old and new Calderería streets, as well as the Alcaiceria, and take some souvenirs from this complete day in Granada. At 4pm, our bus will take us back to the Costa del Sol, but I’m sure, as the poet said, we will all leave a piece of our heart in Granada.
