Full Day Santorini Tour departing from Heraklion

The volcanic island of Santorini lies north of Crete. And this daytrip by fast catamaran is a great chance to take a close-up look at it. Curved around a colossal, sea-filled caldera that was formed by a massive volcanic eruption 3,500 years ago, it's all black cliffs, whitewashed villages and blue-domed churches. It's picture-postcard Greece. Once you're on dry land, you'll take off on a scenic tour, exploring many of the island's attractions and learning about its history. Explore a caldera-edge town, where whitewashed houses, cobbled streets and tavernas cascade down the cliff-face in steep terraces. You'll then have some free time in both Oia and the island's capital, Fira. Spend an hour or so snapping up treats in the quaint shops and boutiques. Or, visit some of the best lookouts to take photos – the views over the caldera are great. It's made for selfies.

   Santorini

   The itinerary lasts almost 1 and 55 minutes to 2 hours and 15 minutes from Heraklion and 2 hours and 30 minutes from Rethymno, depending on the weather conditions. At the port of Santorini, our escorts (dressed in a SEAJETS uniform and holding signs with the bus numbers) will welcome the participants and escort them in the right buses.

   Oia

   2 hours

   First Stop: Oia Then, the buses will leave for Oia. The participants will stay there for approximately 2 hours. Later on, the bus will depart for the next stop, Fira. On days of heavy traffic, variations on schedule may occur and the busses might stop first at Fira.

   Fira

   2 hours

   Second Stop: Fira On the way to the town of Fira, the participants will receive interesting information about the tour program. At their arrival in Fira, they will stay there about an hour and a half. After visiting the beautiful capital of Santorini, if they wish may participate in a unique excursion by boat to the Caldera or they could stay longer in Fira.
