   The Punta Carena lighthouse is the second largest in Italy in terms of lighting power (first is Genoa), and it's also one of the oldest: it was first lit in 1867. The lighthouse is always a peaceful place, far from the routes of mass tourism. The best time to appreciate its magic is at sunset; in fact, this is one of the few points on the coast of Capri where you can watch the sun set into the sea.
