   Begin your day with a drive south of Quito along the Avenida de los Volcanes. Weather permitting, see hills and volcanoes such as Pasochoa, Corazón, and Ilinizas along the way. Arrive at Cotopaxi National Park and visit the Interpretation Center. Learn about the highest active volcano in the world and hear fascinating facts about Cotopaxi from your guide. Continue to Limpiopungo Lagoon and take a walk to observe birds and plants that have adapted to the cold climate. Next, visit a rose plantation and see how some of the best flowers in the world are produced. At the end of this colorful stop, your guide will suggest places and give you the necessary time to have lunch. In the afternoon, return to Quito and get dropped off at your hotel.
