From Palermo Corleone Private Experience with a Local Born

YOUR DAY After pickup, we travel to Corleone and explore its medieval streets and historic centre, discovering a town shaped by centuries of history. We visit the International Documentation Center on Mafia and Anti-Mafia, where photographs, documents, and testimonies tell Sicily's fight against organized crime. Next, we walk to the Cascata delle Due Rocche, a beautiful natural waterfall just outside the town centre. Enjoy about one hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant I recommend (lunch not included). In the afternoon, we visit the Royal Hunting Lodge of Ficuzza, a Bourbon palace built in 1799 in the heart of a protected forest. Finally, I'll drive you back to your chosen drop-off location. With a local guide born in Corleone, you’ll uncover how ancient traditions, power, Mafia and society shaped one of the most talked-about towns in Sicily. As you walk, old photographs and first-hand stories bring the past to life, offering a rare and human view of Corleone’s evolution.

   CIDMA: International Documentation Center on the Mafia and the Anti-Mafia Movement

   1 hour

   We will continue inside the International Documentation Center on Mafia and Anti-Mafia, a place where powerful images and testimonies show both the dark years of organized crime and the brave civic resistance that changed the course of Sicilian history. This visit offers insight into how a community faced its past and began to rewrite its identity with dignity and courage.

   Cascata delle Due Rocche

   1 hour

   Finally, I will guide you to the Cascata delle Due Rocche, a breathtaking waterfall just outside the town center. This natural oasis once shaped Corleone’s daily rhythm, and today it tells a story of resilience and renewal.

   1 hour

   In the afternoon, we visit the Royal Hunting Lodge of Ficuzza, a Bourbon palace built in 1799 in the heart of a protected forest — a hidden gem most tourists never see.
