Overview
What makes this experience special is the combination of authentic Italian cooking, hands-on learning, and a peaceful setting just outside the centre of Florence. Rather than watching a demonstration, you’ll work alongside a professional chef and prepare both pizza and tiramisù completely from scratch. From kneading and stretching your own pizza dough to preparing fresh mascarpone cream and assembling a classic tiramisù, every step is practical and interactive. You’ll learn traditional techniques, understand the ingredients, and discover the stories and traditions behind two of Italy’s most beloved dishes. The experience takes place at Al Parco Firenze, surrounded by greenery and away from the busy city streets. After cooking, sit down and enjoy the meal you created yourself, making the experience as much about sharing, relaxing, and enjoying Italian hospitality as it is about learning to cook.

Itinerary
Step into the kitchen at Al Parco Firenze and discover how to make two of Italy’s most iconic dishes from scratch: traditional pizza and classic tiramisù. You’ll start with the pizza dough, learning how to mix and knead flour, water, yeast, and salt by hand. With guidance from your chef, you’ll stretch your dough and top it with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil to create a classic Margherita. Then, watch it bake in our traditional wood-fired oven. Next, prepare an authentic Italian tiramisù from scratch. You’ll make a smooth mascarpone cream, layer it with coffee-dipped biscuits, and finish it with cocoa powder. Throughout the class, your professional chef will share practical techniques, tips, and stories about Italian food traditions. Finally, sit down, relax, and enjoy the pizza and tiramisù you have prepared yourself in a peaceful setting just outside Florence.
