   Volcanic Villages Panoramic Drive (Giarre, Santa Venerina, Zafferana, Milo) Relax in our comfortable private vehicle as we climb the slopes of Mount Etna. We will pass through the picturesque historic villages of Giarre, Santa Venerina, Zafferana Etnea, and Milo, watching the landscape shift from Mediterranean orchards to volcanic woods.

   The 1875 Lava Flow & The Miraculous Church We reach Etna North to admire the massive historical lava flow of 1875 from the outside. Your guide will share the incredible local history and faith surrounding the small church that stood directly in the path of the burning lava and was miraculously spared.

   Grotta della Neve

   35 min

   Snow Cave Exploration (Snow Cave Exploration) Put on your provided safety helmet and high-power lamp to step inside a real volcanic lava tube. Known historically as the "Snow Cave," your guide will explain through your wireless headset how locals used this deep volcanic tunnel to store ice during the hot Sicilian summers.

   Monti Sartorius

   Sartorius Craters Trekking & Piano Provence Equipped with your trekking sticks, enjoy an easy but unforgettable hike around the old Sartorius Craters at Piano Provenzana. Walk through a unique white birch forest growing on black volcanic soil, and admire from the outside the massive path and destruction left by the famous 2002 eruption.

   Local Mountain Chalet (Lunch Break) Not Included (Food paid separately on-site) Description : Take a relaxing break at a traditional mountain chalet. You will have the option to enjoy a delicious, authentic lunch featuring local Sicilian products and specialties (payable directly to the venue) before we head towards the coast.

   Le Gole dell'Alcantara

   Pass by

   Alcantara Valley & Taormina Coast Scenic Drive Enjoy a spectacular, wide-angle scenic drive through the heart of the Alcantara and wine valleys. We will pass through Linguaglossa, the wine hub of Solicchiata, the medieval village of Castiglione di Sicilia, Francavilla, and the seaside Resort of Giardini Naxos, catching breathtaking views of Isola Bella from the car windows without stopping.

   Taormina

   2 hours

   Taormina Historic Center (Free Time) We drop you off directly at the historic gate of Porta Catania. You will have 1.5 hours of complete free time to walk down the elegant Corso Umberto, shop in local boutiques, visit the ancient Greek Theater on your own, or enjoy a granita. Your guide will wait for you back at Porta Catania for our private drive home.
