Overview
Join us to explore Manuel Antonio National Park, considered by thousands of travelers the right place to easily observe wild monkeys, sloths, blue butterflies, toucans, and much more in Costa Rica. Our company philosophy it's to professionally develop informative, fun, and educational experiences for all visitors despite your age, physical mobility, academic position, and nationality. We guaranteed that by reducing our tour groups size to 8-10 people max (group tour), 4-6 people max (semi-private tour), or just your own party (Fully Private tour) As you make your way through a well-preserved park, you will find yourself next to all different species of mammals, tropical birds, and a large variety of exuberant tropical flora. We invite you to ask any questions you may have throughout the activity to enrich and better educate your experience. Note: We are open to customizing your tours for any specific animal search, theme, or navigating in any direction requested by our visitors.
What's included
- Free to enjoy the beach areas or hike other trails after our tour.
- Enjoy less-crowded trails by touring in the opposite route (counterclockwise) than most tour guides.
- Professional certified bilingual tour guide (Certified by the Costa Rican Tourism Board)
- Use the provided Swarovski Spotting scope to get a closer, deeper look at the parks wildlife.
- We strongly recommend purchasing your SINAC tickets at least one week in advance of your visit. Please note that ticket availability may vary considerably during peak or cruise season.
- Transporation not included
Itinerary
We begin by briefly describing the facilities, trails, and beach areas we will walk and visit on our 3-hour guided tour. We will make recommendations depending on the season and type of group that will be attending the tour. As mentioned above, we will do the tour in the opposite direction (anti-clockwise) of the standard operators and guides, the idea is to walk with less people and noise, focus on what the tour is about, observe the local wildlife, learn about iconic tropical species and, if possible, take a great photo or video. The most common species are sloths (both species), monkeys, bats, agoutis, tree frogs, toucans, and even snakes.
Meeting and pickup
We suggest driving your own vehicle instead of using your hotel or resort's shuttle service. It's much easier and more convenient for both parties. We'll reserve a paid spot for you at the Chalo Parking lot, allowing you to stay longer on the beach, have lunch or souvenir shopping.
