Overview
E-Bike and eat your way through some of the city's unique waterways, nature, and neighborhoods on a special electric biking food tour. Created and curated by noted cookbook author, restaurateur, food critic, food lover and e-biker, Kenji Lopez Alt. Led by award winning educators and Seattle’s highest rated tour guides, David and Joe. How long is the tour? 3.5 to 4 hours How much food do we eat? Picture a quarter to a third of a robust sandwich at each stop. Your goal is that no one leaves hungry but no one is too stuffed to enjoy every stop. What dietary needs can you accommodate? Vegetarian or Pescatarian? No problem. Just let us know when you register. Vegan, not quite as easy but let us know when you sign up and we will reply with what your options will look like on that day. Do I get to meet Kenji? Kenji’s schedule does not have room for personally hosting these tour dates. Kenji does plan to do an occasional drop by. Those, however, will be rare and special events.

Everyone calls it the Ballard Locks. We walk the bikes through here while visiting the botanical gardens. We take time to see the Locks in action and observe adult migrating salmon. We stop at the Fishermen's Terminal where the Alaskan Fishing Fleet store their boats in the off-season. They let us ride the bikes down the docks and see first hand how at least a quarter of the total seafood harvest in the U.S. is associated with this terminal. The Deadliest Catch boats are also here in the off-season.

Fremont
30 min
Your second food stops may happen in the Fremont neighborhood. Many choices here, we can stop at Tivoli for the famous Tomato Pie with Calabrian Chili Crisps; or check out why Teriyaki is a signature dish in Seattle and go to I Love Teriyaki.
