On this tour we will meet wonderful places such as viewpoints with breathtaking landscapes, lagoons, furnaces, green pastures, cows among other unique experiences that this magnificent island has to offer. Here we will also have the opportunity to eat traditional Azorean food made inland on the land, cooked by the heat of volcanic activity.

   This place is historic and important to the local population, offering panoramic views of Villa Franca do Campo and the famous islets. It has details like the 100 degrees on its 10 levels.

   Lagoa das Furnas

   The Furnas Lagoon is located in an ancient crater of the Furnas volcano, here we will know the power of the fumarolas, the views over the lagoon and surrounding nature.

   Parque Terra Nostra

   This park consists of a Botanical Garden and Thermal Baths, which offer the opportunity to feel the hot water rich in iron from the interior of the earth.

   Caldeira das Furnas

   1 hour

   Lunch time: We will eat the famous cooked of the Furnas, the traditional Azorian food.

   Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeiroes

   20 min

   This park is classified as a protected area, here we will see a waterfall very close and get to know the ancient water mills.

   Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana

   20 min

   Gorreana is the oldest tea plantation in Europe, founded in 1883 and here we will meet the old factory, see the plantations and taste the local tea.

   Miradouro de Santa Iria

   15 min

   The viewpoint is located north of the island and offers panoramic landscapes over the greenery of the island and the blue of the sea, an opportunity to relax and appreciate nature.
