Overview

Enjoy a scenic 20 km (12-mile) e-bike ride over 8 hours, exploring Emilia-Romagna. We’ll visit a Parmigiano Reggiano dairy farm and a family-run balsamic vinegar facility, with views of Canossa Castle and Votigno. Starting at 8:00 AM from Reggio Emilia train station, we’ll transfer to Cortogno. At San Giorgio dairy farm, taste fresh cheese before setting off through Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park. Our first stop is Vercallo, with views of Rossena and Canossa castles. After a 45-minute ride, we’ll explore the Castle of Canossa and a balsamic vinegar facility within its walls. We’ll then ride through Votigno and other charming villages before enjoying lunch at a local trattoria with gnocco fritto, handmade tortelli, and wine. We expect to return to Reggio Emilia around 4:00–4:30 PM. This tour is suitable for those in good physical condition with prior mountain or e-bike experience, involving asphalt and off-road trails with uneven terrain.
