Passing through Profitis Ilias, an Italian hotel dating back to 1929 in the heart of the pine, cedar, and oak forest, is the ideal stop for taking photos or having a coffee. The next stop is at Fountouklis, a Byzantine church of Saint Nicholas that was built in the 14th century. Also, there will be another pause for some photo-taking at Saint Nektarios, where the empty trunk of a huge banana tree can hold 3 adults, and of course, a lunch in a traditional tavern. Finally, there will be a stop at Kalithea Springs, a natural haven known since ancient times for its hot springs, an ideal place to enjoy a rejuvenating swim and a nice drink.
