    Santuario di Santa Rosalia

    The sanctuary was built in a cave where in 1624 the sheets of the patron saint of the city, Santa Rosalia were found.

    Monte Pellegrino

    Pass by

    Monte Pellegrino is the sacred mountain of Palermo overlooking the Mondello sea. It is about 609 meters high and it is possible to climb it via an asphalted road, excellent for traveling with road bikes or MTBs and an old road that is used by pilgrims to reach the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia on foot. The mountain is part of the Favorita Park and is rich in vegetation and caves. Goethe called it >.

From Airport: With pullman Prestia e Comandé, get off at the Via Libertà, 80 and walk until you cross Via Giusti on the right, turn down the street and then turn left on Via T. Tasso,74. From Central Station: Take the 101 bus. Get off at Via Arimondi stop on via Libertà and look for Via T. Tasso,74.
