Discover Las Palmas city on your own

Enjoy a hassle-free day in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with direct bus service from your resort, accompanied by a guide for the full round trip. Once in the city, you'll have 4–5 hours of free time to explore at your own pace. The city offers two distinct areas worth visiting, around 5 km apart — easy to connect by taxi or local bus: Vegueta & Triana: Wander the historic old town, home to the Cathedral of Santa Ana, Casa Colón, the Canarian Museum, and the lively Vegueta Market. Don't miss the Triana neighbourhood, known for its modernist architecture, excellent restaurants, and boutique shopping. Port & Las Canteras Beach: Start at Santa Catalina Park, steps from the Mercado del Puerto food hall, the Elder Museum of Science and Technology, and Poema del Mar aquarium. End the day at Las Canteras, one of Spain's finest urban beaches. Nearby, the López y Mesa shopping street is home to El Corte Inglés and major retail chains.
