   2nd Stop: Viewpoint: Pause for a 15-minute photo stop at a scenic viewpoint from the top where there you can clearly see Dia Island (Dia Island is a part of the Natura 2000 network, located off the coast of Crete, is steeped in history and mythology, believed to be the ancient sanctuary of Zeus.) This uninhabited, rugged island is unique for its rich biodiversity and significant archaeological remains, including Minoan ruins, making it a hidden gem of myth and nature.
