Arrive in Imlil, the vibrant trekking hub, where you'll be greeted with warm Berber hospitality and refreshing mint tea. Authentic Berber Trekking: Embark on a guided, moderate 2 to 3-hour trek. Walk alongside rushing streams, through dense walnut groves, and past cascading waterfalls. Your local guide will lead you to the elevated village of Aroumd, providing stunning, postcard-perfect views of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. A Taste of Tradition: The highlight of the day is a truly authentic moment: a delicious, homemade three-course lunch served in the home of a local Berber family.    Enjoy a homemade, three-course lunch (often including a delicious tagine) prepared by a local Berber family in their home in Aroumd or a scenic guesthouse in the valley.

   Arrive in Imlil (1,740m), the trekking hub and gateway to Mount Toubkal. Meet your local, certified mountain guide. Enjoy a refreshing glass of traditional mint tea and finalize your chosen trek route.) Start your 2 to 3-hour guided walk. The most common route is a loop that takes you through beautiful walnut groves and past waterfalls to the neighboring village of Aroumd (Armed) (approx. 1,840m). This trek is generally considered easy-to-moderate.

   Atlas Mountains Day Trip

   Exploration After lunch, take a different, scenic route back down to Imlil, or spend a little time exploring the small, terraced village of Aroumd. You will also have a beautiful view of Mount Toubkal (the highest peak in North Africa) from the valley. Meet your driver and begin the journey back to Marrakech.
