Meet your mezcal expert at Restaurant Palmeras, conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cozumel and approximately 15 minutes by taxi from the cruise piers. Settle in for a 2.5-hour journey through one of Mexico’s most fascinating spirits as you taste six carefully selected mezcals, each with its own aromas, flavors, and character. As you explore each pour, your expert guide will share the history and cultural significance of mezcal and explain what makes every variety distinctive. The intimate small-group setting leaves plenty of time to ask questions and compare favorites with fellow travelers. Enjoy a gourmet Mexican lunch featuring local specialties selected to complement the tasting.
