Cooking Class for Kids and Parents in Kyoto

ULU, opened in 2022, is a multicultural community space currently staffed by 20 members from various countries. This is a place where people of all genders, races, ages, and nationalities can come together. While Kyoto is a popular destination worldwide, opportunities to connect with locals and enjoy a unique cultural experience are rare. Here, you can achieve just that with us!

Once everyone has gathered, we’ll start with a friendly introduction before beginning our hands-on cooking session, conducted in English. As we cook together, we’ll enjoy a fun cultural exchange, preparing and sharing delicious dishes as a group. You’ll not only discover the flavors and traditions of Japanese cuisine, but also have a special chance to share your own culture with local children, creating meaningful connections through food. Our friendly staff speak English, Japanese, Spanish, and other languages, so communication will be smooth and welcoming for everyone.
