Colonial Williamsburg
2 hours
Colonial Williamsburg is America's largest living history museum, where historic buildings, costumed interpreters, and hands-on demonstrations bring the 18th century to life. Stroll the famous Duke of Gloucester Street, the bustling heart of Virginia's colonial capital, where patriots, merchants, and everyday citizens once walked on the eve of the American Revolution. Along the way, you'll visit authentic trade shops such as the Gunsmith, Weaver, and Apothecary to watch skilled artisans demonstrate the crafts and techniques that kept colonial Williamsburg thriving. Every visit offers a unique experience, with opportunities to meet historical interpreters, hear stories of the Founding Fathers, and discover how ordinary Virginians helped shape America's story.

Governor's Palace
45 min
The Governor's Palace was the official residence of Virginia's royal governors and later the home of the Commonwealth's first elected governors, Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson. Step inside to experience one of colonial America's grandest homes, complete with elegant period rooms, a magnificent ballroom, and an impressive display of muskets and swords. Outside, stroll through beautifully restored formal gardens, terraces, and the famous boxwood maze. Together, the Palace and its grounds offer a glimpse into the wealth, power, and politics that shaped colonial Virginia and the American Revolution.
- 3
Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square
30 min
Stroll through one of America's oldest planned shopping districts, where charming boutiques, specialty shops, galleries, and inviting restaurants blend seamlessly with Colonial Williamsburg's historic atmosphere. Along the way, your guide will point out local favorites, recommend places to shop or dine after your tour, and share how Merchant's Square has served visitors since the 1930s as part of Colonial Williamsburg's restoration. It's the perfect transition from the 18th century to today's vibrant Williamsburg.
- 4
Bruton Parish Episcopal Church
30 min
Optional Visit to Bruton Parish Church – If open during our tour, we'll step inside Bruton Parish Church, one of America's oldest active Anglican churches, where generations of Virginians—including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and other Founding Fathers—worshipped. Built in 1715, the church is renowned for its beautiful colonial architecture, historic furnishings, and enduring role in Williamsburg's story. Because it remains an active parish with worship services and special events, interior access depends on the church's schedule.
- 5
William & Mary
30 min
Optional Visit to the Sir Christopher Wren Building – If time permits, we'll visit the Sir Christopher Wren Building at the College of William & Mary, the oldest college building in the United States still in academic use. Founded in 1693 by King William III and Queen Mary II, the college educated generations of influential leaders, including Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, and John Marshall. This iconic landmark offers a fascinating glimpse into colonial education and the enduring legacy of one of America's oldest institutions.
