Coffee With Cooper

Step out of Charleston’s heat, cold, or rain and settle in for Charleston's only indoor history experience - Coffee with Cooper. Join just ten guests, enjoy a great cup of coffee, and discover the amazing history of one of America’s most fascinating cities, by an actual historian with a gift for making the past vivid, surprising, and easy to connect with. Coffee with Cooper was created to make Charleston history more comfortable and accessible. You can explore the city’s past without spending hours walking outdoors—an inviting option for visitors who prefer to sit, need a break from the weather, or have mobility challenges. We wanted more people to be able to enjoy Charleston’s history, whatever the forecast or their ability to walk. Cooper brings an exceptional background to every conversation. He holds a Ph.D., has three additional degrees, and taught at the University of South Carolina.
