I will accompany you around the Ancient Market of Civitavecchia to introduce you to the local products and traditions of our city. You will discover the true Italian cuisine as it has been handed down to me, both that of my region and other Italian regions. You will learn how to use the right ingredients, appreciate their absolute quality, and also use special tools. A vegetarian menu is also available on request. I will explain in detail how to prepare the recipes of the menu, and I will give you a printed version: with the technique you have acquired, in this way you can replicate the dishes of Italian cuisine at home. You'll have fun learning how to prepare dishes and getting your hands dirty, and eventually we'll enjoy what you've cooked, and you'll be sitting at the table with me and my family.

With this experience I will take you around the Ancient Market of Civitavecchia, which has its origins in the late 1800s. In the stalls you can find local fruits and vegetables, food products of various kinds and, within the covered structure, meat and fish from our sea. Here we will buy some of the products we will use for the cooking class. Once you get home, you will learn how to make spaghetti alla chitarra, a fresh homemade pasta totally by hand, with the only help of a rolling pin and guitar. The course involves the creation of the dough starting from the classic fountain on the wooden surface, with which the spaghetti alla chitarra will be prepared to be made with the appropriate tool, the guitar, and the rolling pin. You will prepare the Amatriciana sauce, consisting of a tomato sauce with bacon and pecorino cheese. Finally, you will learn how to make Tiramisù, one of the classic desserts of Italian cuisine based on ladyfingers, coffee and mascarpone. The cooking class includes an excellent bottle of wine for every 2 people, unlimited water and coffee.
