It is a picturesque village located in the region of Chania, Crete, approximately 25 kilometers west of Chania town and near the coastal area of Kolymbari. The village is best known for the Cave of St. John the Hermit (Agios Ioannis Erimitis), a historical and religious site believed to have been the dwelling of the saint in the 16th century.    Topolia Gorge

   Topolia is a traditional village located approximately 47 kilometers southwest of Chania.
