   Your adventure begins at Plaza Las Fuentes, departing one hour after your cruise ship arrives at Costa Maya Port. Enjoy the approximately 50-minute drive to Chacchoben, passing through local villages along the way. Spend approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes exploring the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins with your guide, where ancient Maya history and tropical jungle come together. Walk beneath the trees as temples, plazas, and ceremonial structures emerge from the jungle, and discover the story of a city that reached its peak around 300 AD. Follow the jungle trails to the Gran Basamento, the ceremonial heart of Chacchoben, and climb the ancient platform for views of Temple One rising above the surrounding jungle.
