   San Juan de Gaztelugatxe

   On the guided tour of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, guests will enjoy a unique experience that combines history, nature, and culture. During the tour, they will enjoy the coastal scenery while walking the panoramic trail and taking photos of the landscape. They will climb the 241 steps and visit the hermitage at the summit, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. By the end of the tour, they will have a deeper appreciation for this iconic site and its historical and cultural connections.

   Mundaka is a picturesque fishing village on the Basque coast, known for its natural beauty and famous harbor. Its cuisine features dishes like marmitako (tuna stew) and clams a la marinera, as well as local pintxos and txakoli wine. It’s the perfect place to enjoy traditional Basque flavors.

On this walking tour, you will discover the air-raid shelters, the legendary Tree of Gernika, and the stunning mural reproducing Picasso's famous painting about the bombing. You will also hear fascinating stories that have shaped this town, located in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve.

   To end the excursion on a high note, you will enjoy an exclusive txakolí tasting, one of the most emblematic wines of the Basque Country, at Bodega Berroja. After this unique experience, we will return to Bilbao in the afternoon. Don't miss it!
