Biking Cuenca City Tour

Our tour takes you along riverside trails to enjoy nice views and the charming architecture of El "Barranco". We will also explore Pumapungo (Inca site) and the modern area of Cuenca, a UNESCO World Heritage city on this bike tour on the riverside along charming parks.

   This is the old western limit of Cuenca, a great place to start the tour with an interpretation of the city

   Rio Tomebamba

   10 min

   This is the most important river in town due to the water supply, we will stop for great picture sports from the river and the famous Barranco with its hanging houses.

   El Barranco del Rio Tomebamba

   10 min

   Considered the border of the historical town and the modern are, this attraction shows the unique architecture of the XIX century.

   El Puente Roto

   5 min

   Our guide will explain about the stories of Cuenca related to the Tomabamba river. In 1960s the flood of the river destroyed all bridges. They rebuilt all but this one.

   Pumapungo Museo

   30 min

   Considered the most important museum in town. We will explore the Ethnographic and Archaeological exhibitions and then the in situ archaeological site with its crop terraces.

   Parque El Paraiso

   5 min

   We will bike by the biggest park in town, you will see a bit of the daily life of Cuencanos as you go.
