The temple has huge intricately carved silver gates which were donated by Maharaja (King) Ganga Singh. The most interesting thing about the temple are the rates who scamper freely within precincts. They are regarded as sacred and are fed by priests & devotees owing to the belief that they will be reincarnated in the family of the goddess. These are holy rats are called Kabbas, And many people travel great distance to pay their respects, The temple draws visitors from across the country for blessings, as well as curious tourists from around the world.
