This Big Five Safari from Cape Town offers the chance to enjoy a wildlife experience just 2.5 hours, around 200 km, from Cape Town city centre. At a private game reserve, guests can look out for lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos and Cape buffalo, along with a variety of other wildlife.    Your day begins with a hotel pick-up in Cape Town or from a nearby meeting point at around 08:30 AM. Enjoy a comfortable drive of about 200 km from the city centre through scenic landscapes on your way to a private game reserve, home to the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife.

   Begin your safari experience at a 10,000-hectare private game reserve, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink before enjoying a buffet lunch at the lodge. After lunch, set off in an open safari vehicle for a 2.5 to 3-hour shared game drive led by a professional ranger, with approximately 14 guests per vehicle. Travel through the reserve in search of Africa’s Big Five: lion, elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard and rhino, together with a variety of other wildlife. Animal sightings cannot be guaranteed, as wildlife moves freely throughout the reserve. A private safari vehicle can also be arranged at an additional cost of R3,555 per vehicle, for a maximum of 8 guests. Game Park Entrance Fee: R1,890 per person in low season, R2,365 in mid season and R2,580 in peak season. Children pay 50%. The entrance fee is not included and must be paid in advance.    At the end of your Big Five safari adventure, relax and take in the views as we drive you back to Cape Town, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in the late afternoon around 18:00
