Batumi, Waterfalls and Folklore A Group Tour from Kutaisi

Our day starts at 08:00 in Kutaisi. After a quick stop in Batumi, we head to the scenic mountains of Adjara. Our first stop is Makhuntseti, a perfect escape from Batumi's summer heat. Along the way, we visit the Adjaristskali River reservoir. We marvel at Makhuntseti Waterfall, one of Georgia's highest, then explore the historic King Tamar’s Bridge. Our journey continues to Mirveti Waterfall, where we cross a charming hanging bridge and stroll through a picturesque village. For lunch, we are welcomed into a local family restaurant in the scenic Matchakhela Valley. Here, we in enjoy delicious variety of local dishes and homemade wine, while being treated to a delightful folklore show. After a day filled with natural beauty and cultural experiences, we head back to Kutaisi, arriving by 20:00, our hearts and minds enriched by the day's adventures.

   Makhuntseti Waterfall, one of the biggest in Georgia, is always full of water and very impressive for visitors. Located in the scenic Adjara region, it's a must-see for anyone who loves nature.

   King Tamar's Bridge, built in the 14th century over the Acharistskali River, has retained its original structure for seven centuries. During the summer, it becomes a local hotspot where children delight in jumping into the river below.

   Machakhela Gorge

   Driving through the Matchakhela River gorge, we pass by numerous waterfalls and an evergreen forest. We stop at the waterfalls to take pictures, capturing the stunning natural beauty of the area.

   Mirveti Waterfall

   Hidden deep within the Adjarean mountains and villages, we discover a small waterfall at the beginning of the river. Our journey takes us through a charming village, leading to this natural gem.

   Zeda Chkhutuneti

   For lunch, we visit a local family restaurant in the mountains of the Matchakhela Valley. They offer a wide variety of local foods and homemade wine. Additionally, we enjoy a captivating folklore show performed just for us.
