Then, step inside and take a moment to look up. The towering columns branch out like trees, creating a feeling of standing in a peaceful forest. As sunlight filters through the colorful stained-glass windows, the interior glows with shifting hues of red, green, and blue that change throughout the day. After exploring the interior, head outside to the Passion Facade, a huge contrast to the one you saw earlier. Its stark lines and dramatic sculptures tell the story of Christ’s final days.    If you selected the Passion Tower option, continue to one of the basilica’s most impressive viewpoints. Take the elevator up the Passion Tower and enjoy views over Barcelona’s city centre. The tower visit is not guided, and the descent is made on foot via the tower staircase.
