The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city. The Quartier des Teinturiers sets the tone: water wheels still turn in the Sorgue canal where dyers and weavers worked for centuries, and the riddles here reward sharp eyes. At the Palais des Papes, the fortress-palace where nine popes held court, you'll work out clues in the shadow of walls that once guarded the papal treasury.
