Arashiyama Kinkakuji Quiet Trail E-Bike Tour with Hotel Transfer

After seeing the temple, you will continue along an old road that has been around for over 1000 years and is surrounded by lush nature. Beyond that, there are few people and the most important sacred place of Arashiyama, the Emperor's Tombs area. After cycling through the atmospheric preserved area, we will ride along the wildest forest road along the river with a history of 1200 years. Around the mysterious road where no cars pass, you can see the Jizo statues and castle walls that give you a sense of history.    We will see Kinkaku-ji, famous for its golden temple, and walk around the temple grounds and explain its history. If you have already seen Kinkaku-ji or are not interested, we will skip this part.

   Pass by

   Cycle along the historic road that stretches north from Kinkakuji Temple, surrounded by beautiful nature including streams, cedar trees, and bamboo.

   Hirosawa Pond

   This is a special cycling tour through sacred areas that have been preserved since the Heian period and where no tourists go. There are rice fields and ponds with over 1000 years of history, and it feels very nice.

   Saga Toriimoto Traditional Buildings Preservation Area

   20 min

   Stop at the Sagano Historic Preservation Area and Nenbutsuji Temple.

   Pass by

   Cycle and walk through beautiful bamboo forests.

   Adashino Nembetsu-ji Temple

   We will enter Nenbutsu-ji Temple, famous for its 1,000 stone statues, and be guided around the temple.
