   Begin the tour on Alicante’s iconic seafront promenade, known for its wave-shaped mosaic and rows of palm trees. Learn how the Explanada became one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks and take your first photos of the tour.

   Stop outside Alicante Town Hall to discover the history of the square, the Baroque façade and the city’s connection with the Mediterranean. Your host will also point out one of Alicante’s most interesting local curiosities.

   Placa Santisima Fac Cross

   Walk through this elegant historic square, surrounded by traditional façades and narrow streets. Hear about one of Alicante’s most important local traditions and capture the atmosphere of the Old Town.

   Basilica Santa Maria

   15 min

   See Alicante’s oldest active church from the outside and learn how it was built over a former mosque. Discover the architectural details of the façade and the historical importance of this part of the Old Town.

   Parque De La Ereta Fountain

   Enjoy panoramic views over Alicante from this hillside park beneath Santa Bárbara Castle. Take in the Old Town, the marina and the Mediterranean while your host shares more about the city’s layout and history.

   Barrio Santa Cruz

   15 min

   Finish near the marina with views of the boats, the waterfront and the city skyline. This final stop is ideal for photos and leaves you close to the beach, shops, restaurants and the route back to the cruise shuttle.

   Passeig Esplanada d'Espanya

   10 min

   On the way back, pass through the famous Calle Castaños, one of Alicante’s liveliest streets, lined with restaurants, bars and terraces. Finish the tour on Explanada de España, the city’s iconic seafront promenade, close to the marina, shops and Postiguet Beach.
