Itinerary
Embark on a mild 2-mile out and back hike with scenic mountain views to a beautiful overlook where you'll enjoy a variety of freshly made teas. On the hike, your guide will identify local plants and animals! You'll see Beargrass in June, Thimbleberries in July, and Huckleberries in August. There are also plenty of creatures that venture up this canyon! We have seen Moose, Elk, Mountain Goats, Black Bears, Pika, and Deer up here! Bring your binoculars! The hike is less than 2 miles round trip with less than 300 ft of elevation gain. It's a mild hike, but we will head off trail for a few hundred feet to get to our overlook destination! Your guide carries all essential tea and hiking gear, gps communicator, safety equipment, is a certified wilderness first responder and leave no trace certified! Your guide will carry a backpacking stove to prepare the hot water! Tea Flight: - Evening In Missoula (local tea) - Huckleberry Tea (local tea) - Traditional Chai (masala chai made in traditional fashion) - Green Tea (not overheated) - Other Teas (Rooibos, Dandelion Root, Earl Grey, and More!) - Tea of Choice (send us your request!)
