It takes only two and a half hours to get there from the centre of Osaka. Kinosaki has been famous for its onsen for over 1,000 years. Japanese people enjoy soto-yu, which involves experiencing several different onsens without staying at a hotel. We are also going on a trip to Ankokuji, which is famous for the view from the temple window. On the second day, we will visit another temple and have soba at a Kawadoko restaurant located beside the river. The area stays cool even in summer due to the air and water from the mountains.
